Cleon Claymore Jones was a studious young lad when he was first led to Pandora's Book. The Book, he learned, was Pandora's way to make amends for all the ills released from her infamous Box!

With The Book came a small gaggle of Ectoplasmic Emotions, playful little imps who were the utter personification of Selflessness, Happiness, Courageousness, Industriousness and Love...in gooey ectoplasmic form!

Since those far more innocent times, the world has become a far more dangerous place! Now, when the need arises, Cleon takes on his own gooily ectoplasmic form...as The Goblin, night-haunting Spirit of Mischief! Then, he and The Boys romp out, wreak havoc and enjoy a gay old time, helping those serious degenerates most in need of their very special brand of help!

The Goblin has long-been one of the most unique heroes in comics. The series tells the ongoing story of an industrious black youth who climbs the ladder of success to become one of the best psychoanalysts of the day...all with more than a little help from a magic book and horde of mischievous spirit friends.
